Rewriting The Story
A 6-week writing group for teens (ages 14–18)
Every family has stories. Some get told at every holiday dinner ad nauseam. Some never get told at all. This group is a chance to take all of that, write it down, and decide what you want to keep and what you can leave at the dinner table.
What actually happens:
No writing experience needed.
We'll write together, in the room, to a prompt. No homework.
Reading out loud is completely optional.
No feedback, no fixing, and no artistic advice. Just being seen and heard, telling your story.
The six weeks:
The house. Where you're from, what it held.
The stories. The ones that get told again and again, that everyone remembers a little differently.
The roles. The part you tend to play when your family's all together, and whether it still fits.
The unspoken. What nobody says out loud but everyone somehow knows.
Keep it. Parts of your story that you want to stay.
Let it go. What you're ready to leave behind.
Before we start
Every family (and/or teen) meets for a quick 15-minute conversation first. It's a chance to answer questions, get a feel for how the group works, and figure out together if it's a good fit.

Still Here: Reclaiming Life After Chronic Illness
A somatic and nature-based group for femme bodies living with chronic illness
You already know how to survive. This group is about something different, about learning to inhabit your life again, even while your body is still figuring itself out.
We’ll meet outside, in Strawberry Creek Park, in the open air. Each session weaves gentle somatic practices, movement, and group reflection, to help you remember what it feels like to be in your body without fighting it.
This is not a support group in the traditional sense. There's no symptom-sharing required. Just a small, consistent group of women finding their way back to themselves, together.
What to expect
Gentle somatic and grounding practices. Nature-based reflection and connection. A consistent, closed group of 4 to 6 women. A pace that respects where your body actually is.
The details
